I have done a lot of kinds of archaeology, around different parts of the U.S. I have worked for many colleges, state and federal agencies and contract archaeology firms. I have 20 years of experience and have written a lot of stuff, most of which has been read only once by unlucky State Archaeologists. My home is far from any convenient source of employment, and I am trying to make it on my own as an M.A. level contractor and independent researcher. I offer my services to the public in many capacities. Archaeology is a pretty interesting way to earn a living, and a lot of us do it I think for (in Tom Petty's word's) "the stories we could tell sitting on the bed in some motel."
